We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer for a 12-month daily rate contract based in Dublin City Centre. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative and innovative environment. The .NET Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing software components within an Agile Scrum framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and implement software components according to project requirements.
- Collaborate with an Agile Scrum team to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and prepare technical specifications.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify solutions, and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs to ensure smooth functionality.
- Adhere to and improve Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.
- Take ownership of tasks, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
Essential Skills:
- .NET Development: Proficiency in .NET (Versions 4.0 and above).
- Microservices Architecture: Experience designing and building microservices.
- SQL Server: Strong experience with SQL Server database development.
- Frontend Development: Skills in React, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and HTML5.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Knowledge of the pensions sector.
- Familiarity with calling and consuming REST services.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Subversion, and code quality tools.
- Mobile application deployment experience.
- Cloud-based testing and PowerShell scripting.
General Experience & Skills:
- At least 5+ years of relevant IT application development experience.
- Experience in the pensions or financial sector is ideal.
- Proven ability to design and implement solutions beyond development tasks.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum ceremonies.
- Solid knowledge of database structures and concepts.
- Multi-skilled and capable of contributing across different phases of the SDLC.
