Intermediate IT Project Manager – Change Enablement- €350 Per Day
Prominent Irish Government organisation with responsibility for financial management requires an Intermediate level (3+ years experience) Project Manager with experience in Change Enablement to play a key role in the delivery of an upcoming project.
This role is initially offered on a 12 month basis but with a very strong probability that this role will be extended for at least another year. If you are an ambitious project manager looking to add some strong government sector experience to you CV then the role could be a really valuable opportunity.
Located in an easily accessible Dublin City Centre location, this role is offered on a hybrid basis with attendance onsite required on average 2 days per week.
Responsibilities of role
* Ensure all new/updated services being transitioned into Operations follow Change Enablement Practice, procedures as well as related practices such as but not limited to: Quality Assurance, Operational Readiness, Incident Management, Problem Management and Release Management
* Develop and Maintain a Practice Plan for Change Enablement with clear deliverables and improvement initiatives.
* Ensure all our Managed Service Partners adhere to our Practices through collaboration while maintaining open lines of communication for suggested improvements from all sides.
* Develop and report monthly KPIs linking trends where applicable to the related Practices (i.e. Incident Management, Problem Management, etc…) or areas to adjust or eliminate pain points.
* Create and deliver training material for the Practice for new joiners and refresher trainings for users that need re-training.
* Suggest and drive improvements to our Service Now change module with our development team to achieve best practices and assist with the organisation’s overall IT strategy.
Essential Candidate Requirements
* Have a third level qualification in IT or in a related discipline
* Hold an Accredited Project Management qualification (PMP, Prince2 or appropriate equivalent)
* ITIL Certification
* ITSM Certification
* 2-3 years’ experience in Project Management, a significant portion of which should have been spent working with Change Enablement
* 2-3 years of experience working in an IT environment aligned with ITIL Practices
* 2-3 years’ experience of stakeholder management
* 2-3 years of experience of working in a highly regulated environment
* Experience assiting in the development of Change Enablement Practice
* Some experience working with Service Now
Highly Desirable
Previous experience working in a Financial Services Setting(Or related area)
Knowledge of the Irish Public Sector, including procurement
